The ‘Black Flag’ list is an initiative of the Spanish climate activist group Ecologistas en Acción.
It awarded 48 Black Flags in Spain for incidents of pollution and environmental mismanagement.
Another area of concern is Mar Menor in Murcia, a beautiful saltwater lagoon with a popular coastline.
The beautiful lagoon has suffered from pollution in recent years and residents have been shocked by the number of dead fish that wash ashore.
