A new study from Sports Cover Direct has found the safest countries for women who want to travel alone. The top 10 list has some incredible destinations.
Spain was ranked as the world’s top destination for female travelers based on safety and the number of solo trips.
The Mediterranean country is one of the UK’s favorite holiday destinations and has many incredible places to explore.
Beach lovers can head to the Costa del Sol or the Balearic Islands to enjoy some of the best coastlines in the country.
Intrepid travelers should try the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain, a pilgrimage that can be done on foot or by bike.

Canada and Singapore were the only non-European countries on the list of safest countries for women.

“Before booking your accommodation, you should only stay in a place that has multiple positive reviews. The reviews usually give you an idea of the host, the neighborhood and the quality of your accommodation.”
