With the cost of living soaring, many Brits are looking for a bargain for the holidays. The Post Office Travel Money found the best spots for bargain hunters.
The price of a half-day sun lounger in Sunny Beach in Bulgaria was just £2.77, while it was free in Marmaris in Turkey.
An ice cream was just 72 pence in Marmaris and just £1.04 in Sunny Beach, while a three course family meal including drinks was just £34.11 in Sunny Beach.
Unfortunately, prices had risen in many other popular European summer vacation destinations.
Research by TUI and the post office shows that Britons will probably pay about 11 percent more on holiday than in 2019.

Nick Boden of Post Office Travel Money said: “The Beach Barometer reveals how paying for children’s treats can push the family vacation budget into the red.
“One way to keep costs down is to pack kids’ gear like jelly shoes, masks and snorkels and last year’s lilo — enough to pay for a paddleboat ride or some ice cream.
“Another easy win is to buy currency before you leave home to avoid bad rates for airport desks.
“Exchange enough cash, because using an ATM abroad becomes expensive when bank charges come up.
“In addition, exchanging over £500 in post offices or online will get you a better rate.”
Richard Sofer, Commercial Director at TUI UK & Ireland, said of destination demand: “Despite the rising cost of living, there are plenty of value-for-money holidays for our customers for this year and beyond.
“We are seeing strong demand, especially for holidays in these more affordable destinations, with bookings in Turkey up 60 percent from 2019 and the Algarve remaining a big family favourite, with bookings up a third from 2019 , indicating that budget-conscious Brits still want to enjoy a trip abroad.
“In addition, we have seen a trend where customers are booking our low-cost all-inclusive offers in these destinations, enabling customers to budget more effectively when it comes to the total cost of their vacation, as they can control what they have to spend at the destination on extra meals, activities, or items they may want to buy while they are gone.”
The Post Office Travel Money offers approximately 60 currencies for pre-order at approximately 7,000 branches across the country.
