New hotel guide shares top 10 British stays – for dogs

Following the findings, hotel booking platform justhoot.comwho ordered the investigation, the Guide to Platinum Feeta new hotel rating system for dog-friendly hotels based on three key criteria: relaxation, amenities and service.

It features dog-friendly hotels across the UK such as Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire, which offers the opportunity to explore the 1,065-acre estate, as well as Chesterfield in Mayfair, which has its own veterinary care department, and Hotel 41 in London Victoria, which is available on arrival. dog-friendly champagne.

The survey also found that 63 percent of owners want to see a dog-friendly rating system used across the hotel industry.

And 56 percent think UK hotels should do more to accommodate their beloved pets.

More than a third (34 percent) of dog owners have witnessed their dog showing signs of stress and anxiety while staying in hotels that did not adequately meet their pup’s needs.

If this were the case, two in five (41 percent) of those polled would shorten their own vacation via OnePoll.

Duncan McKenna, founder of justhoot.comsaid: “Pets have always been part of our family, but now they are starting to enjoy the same experiences more than ever.

“Often we feel that they are overlooked by the hotel industry and just seen as an addition, with an extra fee to make them stay.

“The platinum paws are set up to give Brits the best information about dog-friendly hotels so their puppies can get the best experience.

“It’s time for the whole family to consider when planning staycations and vacations.”
