She revealed that she “learned the hard way” about the best type of suitcase to select for your trip.
Megan explained that not only does the material of your suitcase make a big difference, but even the color can help you get the most out of your money.

“You never know what’s in someone else’s bag, or what’s under the plane and what might leak from your bag.”

Earlier, a baggage handler revealed that passengers who pack liquids, including perfume or bottles of alcohol, could cause problems for staff and other travelers.
On a Reddit forum, the anonymous baggage handler said, “Please don’t pack any food or drink in your bag. They rot, break, leak, open.
“It stinks. Especially alcohol. Then I smell all day after picking up a bag that leaked on me.
‘The same goes for cologne and perfume. Please pack it well so it doesn’t break.’ [SIC]
If another passenger has a powerful substance in their bag that starts to leak, it could seep into surrounding bags, especially if they are made of material.
But material is not the only thing you should pay attention to when choosing a suitcase.
Megan continued: “Take a dark color. If your bag goes under the plane, it will be scraped very quickly.
“I learned that the hard way.”

“Find a bag that is expandable. You never know what you’re going to take with you on a trip and need to fit in your suitcase at home.”
While there are many high-quality suitcases on the market, the airline employee said you “don’t need the most expensive luggage” to keep your personal items safe while traveling.
