One is making sure you take good care of your passport.
A flight attendant has now shared some hacks to help make your trip run smoothly, including advice on how to do it. Rosalie Edith, who has been doing the job for nine years, claims that the most crucial item you can pack for your trip is a passport cover or cover.
She says you should always keep your passport in a briefcase to protect it because a damaged passport can hinder you from traveling. reports De Spiegel.
The TikTok user then tells you to put that briefcase in a zippered or clear bag.
@rosalieedith explained: “I know it seems like a lot but a damaged passport will literally ruin your holiday.
“The sleeve protects the pages from bending and the bag protects it from accidental water bottle spills, the rain or in my case a really bumpy boat ride.”
Her TikTok video then shows her on a boat with friends as potentially harmful seawater spills over the side of the boat.
She explains that if you’re only taking carry-on luggage, you’ll need a clear bag anyway, but an extra clear bag makes it easy to find what you need.
If you decide to take checked baggage with you, Rosalie recommends packing some of your favorite items in your carry-on bag, in case your suitcase gets lost in transit.
She also recommends that carry-on luggage should include extra underwear, a swimming costume, and a favorite outfit with an extra pair of shoes.
It comes as a flight attendant shared what you absolutely must not do when using the airplane toilet.
Tommy Cimato, who has 16 years of cabin crew experience, has highlighted how unsanitary the plane’s toilet flush button is.
He warned passengers not to touch it at all costs.
He insisted that you should always flush, but never, under any circumstances, press the button with your bare hand.
