You will be charged for anyone whose contract went into effect on or after August 11, 2021 – but anyone with a contract that went into effect before is currently free of charge.
The amount you pay depends on your destination. If you travel to the Isle of Man or the Republic of Ireland, you will not pay any additional costs.
If you’re traveling to countries in Europe (and your contract started after August 11, 2021), you’ll pay £2 per day.
However, you can save some money on this by purchasing a roaming pass that is valid for eight or 15 days. These cost the equivalent of £1 per day.
Those with the carrier’s more expensive Xtra plans still have roaming included.
