France
In France, unions threatened action on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June, with several airports expected to be hit.
Aéroports de Paris ground staff are planning further action on July 2 after calls for a €300 salary increase.
The action is coordinated by several French unions and could affect all staff at both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports in Paris, including security personnel.
Belgium
Crew in Belgium will go on strike for three days to demonstrate Ryanair’s non-compliance with Belgian labor law.
Despite claims by Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary that Belgium’s allegations were “complete nonsense”, the crew still plans to strike on June 24, 25 and 26.
The weekend strikes will be the second bout of action to affect the country’s flight schedule this week, following previous cancellations of all flights departing from Brussels Brussels Zaventem Airport on Monday amid a security staff strike.
